Metro Vision provides comprehensive eye care services, including eye examinations, prescription eyewear, contact lenses, and specialty eyewear such as Wiley X® and Xperio® lenses. These Terms apply to all visitors, patients, and customers who access our website or visit our physical location.
By continuing to use our website, scheduling an appointment, or making a purchase, you confirm your understanding and acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website or services.
2. Services Provided
Metro Vision offers professional optical and retail services including, but not limited to:

All medical advice and vision prescriptions are provided only by licensed professionals during scheduled appointments. Retail eyewear purchases made through Metro Vision are subject to manufacturer warranties and store policies described at the time of sale.
3. Eligibility and Patient Responsibility
By using our services or purchasing products, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information when scheduling appointments, completing orders, or communicating with Metro Vision. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information.
4. Appointments, Payments, and Refunds
Appointments
Appointments may be scheduled by phone. We ask that cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee of $89.00.
Payments
Metro Vision accepts payment via major credit cards, debit cards, cash, or approved insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made
Refunds and Returns
Prescription eyewear is custom-made and cannot be refunded once lenses have been ordered. Frame exchanges may be permitted within seven (7) days if in new, unworn condition and accompanied by proof of purchase. Non-prescription sunglasses and accessories may be returned within 14 days of purchase with receipt. Contact lenses must be unopened and in original packaging.
Defective or damaged products will be replaced under manufacturer warranty where applicable.
5. Insurance and Billing
Metro Vision participates with a variety of vision insurance providers. Patients are responsible for verifying coverage before their appointment. We will submit claims to your insurance carrier as a courtesy, but payment responsibility ultimately lies with the patient for any non-covered services or remaining balances.
Balances not paid within 30 days may incur a late fee or be referred to a third-party collection agency.
6. Product Warranties and Manufacturer Policies
Many of the products we carry — including Wiley X®, Xperio®, Crizal®, Varilux®, and other branded eyewear — come with manufacturer warranties for defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product type.
Metro Vision will assist in processing warranty claims but does not independently guarantee or extend manufacturer coverage. Misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications void all warranties.
7. Privacy and Data Security
Your privacy is important to us. Metro Vision complies with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) standards regarding patient medical information and confidentiality.
We may collect limited personal information through our website (such as appointment requests or contact forms) for scheduling and customer service purposes only. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as required to fulfill services (e.g., insurance billing or shipping).
All electronic communications are protected by reasonable security measures; however, no system is completely secure. By using our website or email communication, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.
