The Conductor Head — also known as a leader head or collector box — is a decorative and functional sheet metal fitting that connects your roof drainage system to the downspout. Traditionally installed under the soffit, conductor heads let air into the drainage line, preventing vacuum lock and reducing excess noise (gurgling).
