Counterflashing (cap flashing) covers and protects the top edge of base flashing where a roof meets a wall, curb, or penetration. It directs water over the base flashing and gives a clean, finished termination. Available as a one-piece or two-piece system, surface-mounted to the wall or set into a reglet.
